ICT Applications Coordinator, Telecommunication Development BureauITUMr. Eskandar is the ICT Applications Coordinator at the ICT Applications and Cybersecurity Division of the Telecommunication Development Bureau of ITU. Mr. Eskandar is currently involved in assisting developing countries by advising on eApplications strategies and policies, implementing technical cooperation projects on digital health, agriculture, governance and education. He has lead the development of guidelines and best-practices reports on eApplications.

Has a degree in Computer Engineering and holds a Masters Degree in IT from Charles Stuart University – Australia. Currently works on Emergency Telecommunications and Climate Change issues.
CoordinatorUNICEF U-ReportJames is currently UNICEF’s global lead for strategy and coordination of U-Report, a system that allows people to report issues in their community and receive life-saving information via SMS, Facebook messenger and other digital channels. James works with the private sector, innovation leads and international NGOs to support the scale up of innovation projects.
Taimur has more than 2 decades of experience in the Telecommunication and is serving as the Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Officer in Banglalink Digital Communications Limited, a subsidiary of Vimpelcom and the second largest mobile operator in Bangladesh with around 30 million subscribers.
Digital Fellow Strategy ManagerAshokaRegina is responsible for Ashoka’s Digital Fellow strategy, and manages the incubation of the Google Impact Challenge winners. She previously worked for 7 years at ITU, where she set up the successful Young Innovators Programme. She is the founder and director of the Social-Digital Innovation Initiative, developing new, impactful approaches for Tech4Good.
