Global SME Award Contenders pitch their innovations

Life-enhancing innovations were firmly in the spotlight today as entrepreneurs from around the world came together at ITU Telecom World 2018 for an action-packed first day of pitching for the ITU Telecom World Global SME Award. SMEs shortlisted for the prestigious Awards pitched their innovations and creative ideas to a jury comprising social entrepreneurship and tech experts
Pitches spanned a wide range of areas including affordable broadband optical cabling, digital agriculture, mobile learning, education, healthcare, VR/AR, online ticket sales, online payment, informal savings platforms, employment, automated mushroom cultivation and much more. They featured:
