The Ministry is responsible for government policy in the areas of communication, the digital economy, culture, public and civic education. It is headquartered in Libreville with offices throughout the Country. Led currently by M. Alain-Claude Bile-By-Nze, it is engaged in an important programme of reforms aimed at implementing policies in the communications and digital economy sectors, as well as creating a proper cultural industry.

The Gabon Pavilion will present the key projects of the Digital Gabon Plan, whose objective is to make Gabon a regional hub of digital economy in central Africa. Several of those projects are seeking investment, and Gabon is open to all partnerships. Exhibition visitors will also have the opportunity to discover how the digital economy of Gabon has developed – it is currently the ICT leader in Central Africa according to the most recent ICT ranking of African countries by ITU.
