The Ministry of Communications has the core responsibility of initiating and developing national policies aimed at achieving cost effective information and communications infrastructure and services for the enhancement and promotion of economic competitiveness in line with the policy guidelines of the Medium Term National Development Policy Framework (MTNDPF) developed as the basis of Ghana Shared Growth and Development Agenda (GSGDA) II 2014-2017.

Ghana’s Ministry of Communications will give valuable insights into its revolutionary e-Transform Project, which aims to leverage ICT to enhance the efficiency and coverage of service delivery. The Ministry’s agencies, including the National Information Technology Agency (NITA – responsible for implementing Ghana ’s IT policies), National Communication Authority (NCA – regulators of all communications by wire, cable, radio, television and satellite), and the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC – financial resource bridging the digital divide between the served and unserved/underserved communities in Ghana), will also be on hand to showcase latest developments and assist with enquiries.
In addition, visitors can discover and meet some of Ghana ’s most innovative private sector players including executives from GC Net, Subah and the Wireless Application Services Providers Association Of Ghana (WASPAG).
